New and Returning Students

Democracy Prep Congress Heights will not serves students after the 2018-19 school year. Current students are encouraged to apply for new schools through the MySchoolsDC citywide application process or enroll in their in-boundary school.
Lottery information can be found at  www.myschooldc.org .  Student in-boundary schools can be identified at dcatlas.dcgis.dc.gov/schools/.

On Dec 19, 2018, the PCSB voted to revoke the charter for Democracy Prep Congress Heights, meaning the school will be closing at the end of this school year, in June 2019.  Students will therefore not be able to re-enroll at Democracy Prep Congress Heights, and will need to find new schools to attend for the 2019-2020 school year.  Information about the lottery {and neighborhood school??} options for next year can be found here.
