Our Program

Congress Heights Public Charter School serves students in preschool through 8th grade, providing an educational foundation and preparation for high school.

Congress Heights PCS is an independent charter school with smaller class sizes, a focus on data-driven instruction, and  enrichment courses and electives, among other offerings.  Students benefit from a focus on academics while infusing elements of social-emotional learning. Students celebrate their community through weekly town halls celebrations where the energy of student excitement reverberates throughout the building. Student Support Coaches, social workers, and clinicians support students’ social emotional needs recognizing the link between academics and students’ well-being. Congress Heights PCS offers before and after care, a variety of athletic programs, as well as an after-school enrichment program. Located in the heart of the Congress Heights community, the school works with the families and students to build a strong community of learners.
